Gault & Millau Croatia has published a special edition of the guide for Zagreb and its surroundings for 2022. The guide includes 100 restaurants, bistros, taverns, snack bars, POP bars and pastry shops from the city of Zagreb and the Zagreb County.
“I am happy that at the initiative of the Zagreb Tourist Board, this esteemed world gastro-guide with a tradition of almost 60 years saw the light of day. The gastronomic scene of Zagreb has never been richer, so I am happy to recommend the Gault & Millau guide dedicated to Zagreb as a guide to those Zagreb caterers at whom people often ask for more tables”, said Martina Bienenfeld, director of the Zagreb Tourist Board.
“Food and culture are deeply ingrained in the national identity of Zagreb County. Here the people cook well. Even the simplest dishes are delicious and fine because they are prepared from authentic ingredients from family farms. Local food is accompanied by a unique story on the way from the farm to fork. For the first time, the Zagreb County Tourist Board is participating in the production of the Gault & Millau Croatia world gastronomic guide, and I am extremely proud and happy to present a part of our authentic gastronomic scene”, said Ivana Alilović, director of the Zagreb County Tourist Board.
